An interview with John Logie Baird


Q:Hi, Where Were you born and when where you born?

A:I was born in HelensBurgh close the Fort William on the West coast of Scotland on the 13 August 1888.

Q:So What did you do in your early Life?

A: Well I Went to The University of strathclyda, I also was at the university of Glasgow but be for that i When to the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College. but my Degree at Uni was cut short but World War 1 but i never Retured to graduate University.

Q: You where an inventor in the early 20th century? and what did you invent

A:Well Yes i was, an if you don't know What i invented Well i will tell you. i inverted the television if i am right its one of the worlds most popular forms of entertainment.

Q: So please Tell me about your first broadcasting

A: The first broadcast was of this as you see in the Photo above.
Also the first broadcast was in 1927 Baird transmitted a long-distance television signal over 438 miles of telephone line between London and Glasgow.

Q: So what did you do in your later life?

A: i lived at a house in Station Road, Bexhill On Sea in sussex in England.

Q: When and where Did you die?

A:I died inBexhill on sea in Sussex in June of 1946 after a stroke in February of that year.
